Our History

AuréaVue™ was born from a simple observation, experienced daily by our founder Alexandre Martin, Data Engineer at Dassault Systèmes .

A vision born from a real problem

Spending more than 10 hours a day in front of multiple screens, Alexandre suffered from chronic eye strain, migraines, and sleep disturbances related to blue light. Despite regular breaks and conventional solutions, nothing seemed to really work .


It was by talking with his colleagues – developers, designers and analysts – who were facing the same problems, that he understood that this was not an isolated case, but a reality for millions of working people and students .


From idea to solution

With the help of a childhood friend, Augustin Moreau, a product designer, and in collaboration with a network of independent opticians and ophthalmologists, Alexandre decided to create a solution that combines technology, comfort and elegance.

This network, also supported by professionals from leading companies such as Essilor and Zeiss , as well as experts linked to European institutes such as the Institut d'Optique Graduate School in Palaiseau (Université Paris-Saclay) in France and the University of Tübingen in Germany, helped to test and refine the first AuréaVue™ frames, ensuring a balance between scientific innovation and everyday use .


This is how AuréaVue™ was born: a brand designed to protect the eyes of all those who spend their days in front of screens, without compromising on style .
